Hiring Of St Andrew’s Church Hall

The church hall at St Andrew’s is available to hire during the week either morning or afternoon each day. It is ideal for any groups who meet regularly or perhaps a Toddler Group who is looking to either start up or looking for new premises. It is also available most weekends for parties, both children and adults, and general get-togethers. There is an outside area too which can be used.

• The size of the hall is 24ft x 35ft.9ins or 7.3m x 10.9m but the height is only 7ft 6ins with a maximum of 16ft or 2.2m x 4.8m
• There is also another small hall which is 18ft 10ins x 10ft 8ins or 5.75m x 3.5m.
• There is the use of the kitchen which has plenty of crockery and cutlery together with oven, hob and microwave.
• There are toilets and there is also one for the disabled. There is easy parking and easy access close to the hall for anyone in a wheelchair. With plenty of additional car parking close by.  
• It is also good venue for seminars and meetings as we have plenty of tables and chairs for about 70 people.

We already have regular hirers from the local Scouts and Guides groups, as well as the local Rainbows and Brownies groups. The Colchester Folk Dance, Colchester Historical Dance and Colchester Waits also meet at the hall regularly, as does a Beaders group.
