Children at St Andrew's

Seekers Club for primary-age children meets during the service every Sunday morning during term time.

We begin in church with the adults then leave for our own time of prayer, worship, Bible teaching and craft work in the church hall.

The teachers work in 4 teams of 2 persons so all leaders benefit from 3 weeks in every month being spiritually fed in church.

All leaders and helpers in our children's work are CRB (DBS) checked, in accordance with Church of England guidelines.

We are very happy for children to stay in church, and even make a bit of noise!  However, we also run a rota of volunteers to cater for any creche-aged children who need 'time out' on a Sunday.

Sound from the Church is fed through to the creche room, so that even if you are looking after young people you can still enjoy the service, and there of plenty of suitable toys available.
We have an area with sofas at the back of the church so parents with toddlers can feel relaxed and comfortable while remaining in the church.

Children of all ages are valued members of God's Church, and they are very welcome.
